What is ICBM - Classic Mod
ICBM - Classic is created by darkguardsman.
ICBM doesn't need much explanation of what it is or isn't. After all, ICBMs are super sizes missiles that blow everything up. Making this mod just about destroying the world right? I would say no but its a mixed story when it comes to ICBM. At the beginning, it was created with the idea that PvP needed a modern addition. Fewer swords, guns, traps, and more bang for your resources. Since its creation, it has evolved to support more than a PvP environment. Adding in cargo missile to transport items across the world. Weather missiles to control the climate and condition of the world. Transportation missiles to allow the player to take a one-way taxi back to his base. That is just the beginning of that is to come as the mod continues to evolve.
Different Versions
This version is a direct port of the older 1.6.4 of ICBM by Calclavia and the UE team. If you are looking for a more updated and better-developed version seek out the version just called ICBM.

Java Version
Java 8 is required by the mods in order for it to function. It can be downloaded and installed here https://java.com/en/download/

Q.A.
Q: Calclavia made ICBM why are you developing it?
A: Yes, calclavia made the original mod but did not work on it alone. I, darkguardsman, helped with the mod and UE before the team disbanded. During the disband I traded calclavia for ICBM in order to prevent it from being abandoned.
Q: Why did it take so long to update?
A: Time, right now BBM has very few devs with not much time to do work on mods. Due to this priorities have to be set and ICBM-Classic is not high on that list.
Q: Why Defense Tech?
A: Aidian was given permission by out team to work on his own version. This was an attempt to convince him to work with us on updating the older mods. He, however, took off with the code and made defense tech then abandoned the project. At least this is what we have been told as we have not confirmed the information
Q: why two versions?
A: Short answer, to better support the communities variety of different gameplay styles. Long answer, When ICBM was updated it was redesigned from the ground up. This upset a lot of die hard fans and created a new for the original. The original idea was to let the community update the mod, this resulted in the creation of defensetech. Since that didn't go over well we ported the original version.
Q: Do you plan to add more content?
A: Not sure, right now the goal is to keep to the original design and update for newer versions.
How to install Mod:
(1) Install the version of Minecraft Forge that corresponds with the mod
(2) Download the Mod.
(3) Drop the entire zipped file into your mods folder (Search %appdata% on your PC then go into .minecraft, then mods(create this folder if it is not there))
(4) Open Minecraft and make sure your profile is set to Forge
(5) Start Minecraft and enjoy!
