[Create] Large Beehive
A large beehive I made on a friend's server a while back. I recreated it from screenshots as I didn't have the schematic, or at least I don't know where I saved it. With some refinement, I have some schematics to share! (This is related to my beegirl skin btw)
Build Description
---
It's mostly a cube but I'm proud of it. It's one of the most complex builds I've made on my own without being a permutation of a tutorial or Mojang structure.
The building is on stilts, spaced 4,3,2,1,2,3 x 3,2,1,2,3 and extends out one.
The first floor is mainly for chilling and looking out wherever you pointed it. The bottom of the tanks rest here.
The second floor generates all the power needed off one water wheel. I strongly recommend using liquid honey instead of water if on a version that isn't v5.0 because it looks cool! (v5.0 breaks liquid honey, makes it grey on the non-flowing sides. v5.1 fixes this and this used to not be an issue so I assume it's a v5.0 thing.)
There's spouts here for whatever you may need honey for, and two cozy closets for extra room.
Third floor is where the action happens: a flower bed for pollination with a window overlooking the same scene at the first floor but from higher up. The two tanks skewer through the middle floor to the ceiling, and have honey pumped into them from 6 smaller beehives, with ladders for maintenance of both sides.
Additional Notes
---
The zip contains two versions: hive_sv, an unfurnished version that's more practical* to print, and hive_demo, the build as seen in the screenshots.
*It still ain't all gonna fit in that chest but at least you don't need to cram all that copper in with at least a whole forest of oak and ~15 stacks of honeycomb blocks.
