Flying Dutchman (movie accurate, 1:1 scale)

The flying Dutchman from the pirates of the caribbian movies player scale and movie accurate

Coming back to Minecraft after some years as a big fan of the pirates of the caribbian movies this build and a accurate black pearl was instantly on my mind. I saw a lot of the Dutchman builds on this site and while most of them are great I hope no one takes offense but haven't found a truly accurate build at player scale yet either most of them get a lot of the proportions wrong or are just straight up huge builds l. So I set out on my own to create a player scale version which has the right proportions and is movie accurate.

Pls note as this is Minecraft I had to make some shortcuts so I may have left out minor details in some places which are hard to replicate in game and focused on the overall build
I used a big variety of reference material for this which includes: the pirates of the caribbian movies 2&3, behind the scenes footage from the movies, deleted scenes from the movies and appearances of the ship in other media such as videogames.

The hull, captain's cabin, masts and the upper deck are finished. While the sails look good I might rebuild some of them as I have copied some of the sails from my black pearl build with worldedit and just made them white, although I think it looks good as it is right now

The interior is unfinished as it is hard to accurately make out what the lower decks look like from the movies so I probably will just make my own interpretation of the parts that are not seen or hard to make out in the movies everything else should have the right proportions
I will post more pictures later of my overall progression (pls note that there will be a lot of minor differences between the early progress and the final version) also I have a fully wooden version build out of spruce woodand the more movie accurate withered version which I mainly build out of dead coral blocks und some andesite features
