Ganz KCSV–7 One of the most beautiful tram in Budapest
The Budapest tram number 2 runs between Jászai Mari tér and the Közvágóhíd parallel to the Danube on the upper wharf in Pest. The route is operated by Budapesti Közlekedesi Zrt. by order of the Budapest Közlekedesi Központ.
In 2012, National Geographic ranked the tram line 7th among the ten most beautiful tram lines in the world. The trams run 3-4 times during peak hours on weekdays, every 5 minutes during the day and on weekends, and every 10 minutes during the morning and late evening hours.
