GLaDOS Chamber from Portal 2

GLaDOS (Genetic Lifeform and Disk Operating System) is a central character in the video game quot;Portal 2quot;, developed by Valve Corporation. As artificial intelligence, GLaDOS monitors and controls the research facilities of the Aperture Science Enrichment Centers. Originally developed to guide the scientific experiments, GLaDOS has taken on a dominant and manipulative personality, which is often accompanied by a sharp, sarcastic and sometimes malicious manner. Her voice, voiced by Ellen McLain, carries a distinctive, monotonous sound that is both eerie and fascinating.



The chamber that houses GLaDOS is the center of the Aperture Science facility. This area, also known as GLaDOS control room, is where GLaDOS is physically attached to the ceiling.
