Stampy's Hunger Games & Adventures Pack (Tested on Java 1.20.5, Bedrock 1.20 & Legacy TU73)
Hi there everyone!
This map pack took my a while to complete (around a month), and as the title suggests, it includes all the various Hunger Games and Adventure Maps on the Stampy's multiple YouTube channels, the maps were extracted from an uploaded Google Drives document by Stormin208, he had originally found all the Xbox 360 gamesave files and collected them into one folder which made my life easier, thanks to him, check out his original Reddit post, where he explains how he found all the game files!
Every single map has been tested on both the Java and Bedrock Editions of the game. All maps have been ported from the Xbox 360 (also known as Legacy Edition) versions of Minecraft onto the latest release version of Java Edition and Bedrock Edition, which is 1.20.4. I am also planning on including the 1.12.2 downloads for the maps as soon as I have time to port them all over for that version. The worlds have also been ported over to the legacy versions of Minecraft Console Edition on the PlayStation 3 and Wii U. Anyone testing out and giving feedback for those world conversions would be greatly appreciated as I do not own a PS3 or Wii U to try out the worlds on.
These maps give me nostalgia. They also let me relive my childhood memories a lot more easily, hope you guys have that same feeling too!
How did you convert the Xbox 360 worlds into these various editions?
- I used a combination of "Horizon" and "Universal Minecraft Tool". I used Horizon to extract the Xbox 360 gamesave data files from the .bin archives, and then used Universal Minecraft Tool to convert the worlds into the various different versions of Minecraft available to convert to on the program, which included Java Edition, Bedrock Edition, PlayStation 3 Edition along with Wii U Edition.
Why did you convert the worlds when Stormin208 has already converted them?
- Stormin208 had converted all the Xbox 360 worlds to the Bedrock and Java Edition of Minecraft, however, he had used the je2be conversion tool, which, while it is a very good Minecraft map converter, it had some notable downsides which UMT have fixed, such as guaranteed item properties conversion such as chests, hoppers, barrels, item frames, etc. will convert over retaining things like durability, custom names, enchantments, book text and more. This makes sure that the world conversion is as close as 1:1 to its Xbox 360 counterpart as possible.
Is the Redstone used in these worlds working properly?
- Yes, I have made sure that the Redstone used in all of the worlds is working and properly connected, UMT had already given me the upper-hand is this as it is a one of its kind for including Block Property Recalculation, this converter was the first to solve a conversion issue introduced in the Java Aquatic update, persistent block property recalculation. This allows for the seamless interconnection of Redstone and blocks alike without separating each block which can break Redstone connections in the Hunger Game maps and ruin stairs too in the Adventure Maps, here are all the blocks which were affected and have been fixed through this recalculation:

Known issues:
- For only 2 of the Adventure maps, rules signs did not display correctly on the Bedrock edition only due to them being placed above item frames, these will be fixed in a later update.
